Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026.
The Back Nine is operated by an individual based in the Philippines. This site is not affiliated with any company, golf course, or simulator venue.
What this site collects
Very little. There are no user accounts, no login, and no contact fields on any public-facing form. When you submit a correction or suggest a missing venue through the /contribute page, the following is stored: the text you enter (field values, fee data, source information), and any image you upload as proof (stored in a private cloud storage bucket, not publicly accessible). No name, email address, or any other identifying information is collected or required.
Cookies and advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to display ads. AdSense places cookies on your device to serve relevant ads. These cookies are managed by Google, not by this site. For information on how Google uses this data, visit: policies.google.com/privacy. A cookie consent notice is shown on your first visit.
How submitted data is used
Correction submissions are reviewed against the proof image provided. If the correction checks out, the listing is updated and the proof image is kept on file. If the submission is dismissed, the image is deleted. Venue suggestions are reviewed and either added to the directory or dismissed. Proof images are stored during review and deleted once actioned. No submitted data is sold, shared, or used for any purpose other than maintaining the accuracy of the directory.
How long data is kept
Submissions are reviewed and either actioned or deleted within 12 months of receipt.
