About The Back Nine

Why this exists

Golf in the Philippines has a pricing problem — not that it's expensive, but that nobody knows what it costs until they're already there. Green fees, caddie fees, cart fees, twilight rates: the information exists, but it's scattered across Reddit threads, Facebook group posts, and course websites that haven't been touched since 2019. Every golfer who's planned a round has done the math with incomplete data, called a venue that didn't pick up, or just guessed and hoped for the best. The Back Nine is a fix for that. One directory. Actual fees. Updated by the people who play.

What's in the directory

Outdoor courses across the Philippines, with green fees, caddie and cart rates, twilight pricing, and access type — public, military, members-accompanied, or private. Where available: registration fees, consumable charges, local vs. foreign rates, and tee time contacts. Virtual golf venues, with bay rental rates, peak and off-peak pricing, simulator brands, and per-game options for 9 or 18 holes. Fee data comes from publicly available sources: official course websites, Facebook pages, verified Reddit posts, and direct community submissions. Every listing shows when it was last verified and where the data came from.

How the data stays current

Anyone can submit a correction. If a fee is wrong or outdated, there's a form on every listing page. Submit the correction, attach proof (a photo of the rate board, a screenshot from the club's Facebook page), and it goes into a review queue. Verified corrections update the listing and reset the verified date. Nobody has an account. Nobody needs to sign up.

Who runs this

A Filipino golfer who got tired of not knowing what things cost. No team. No corporate backing. Not affiliated with any golf course, simulator venue, or golf brand. If you spot something wrong, use the form. That's how this stays useful.
